I took a slight detour on my way from Estes Park to Central City to stop off and visit Florida agility friends Heather and Travis Wall. I haven’t seen them since they left Florida a few years ago so it was a nice treat. Plus it was nice to meet their son, Ryan. Ryan is a very happy boy!
I worked my first few days in Central City and then went off to visit Vanessa and Aaron in Castle Rock. Vanessa and I knew each other back in Sunday school and also as Jr. and Sr. High School friends and classmates. It’s been since their daughter was Bat Mitzvahed close to 15 years ago that I’ve seen them but we’ve continued to keep in touch. Random fact – I’ve been in every house that they’ve owned dating back to Long Island and now 3 homes in Colorado!
Vanessa and I took Ringo and Fred for a hike up Castle Rock. After that we drove over to Daniels Park to see if we could see the bison. We were not disappointed!

We spent a nice evening together – and hopefully it’ll be less time before we all see each other again! Ringo considered joining Fred and me on our adventures!
