On my way from Michigan to Ohio, I stopped off at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. There were some neat exhibits and the good news is that it was more than a lot of cars. Also, I realize that Henry Ford was an antisemite, but I was going to see the stuff in the museum, not him.
There was a Jim Henson exhibit. I was especially drawn to this since I’m an original Sesame Watcher, since it started airing in 1969, right about the time that I was watching TV and understanding it. There was also a Civil Rights exhibit. It still irks me that all of these years later, the ERA was never ratified by all of the states.
