It’s Thursday the 29th and I’ve been in Scottsdale for 2 weeks now. I’ve done a few more things since my last post.

First, I will say that my sinuses are very unhappy here, so be sure that Arizona, New Mexico and Texas too will never be places I could live full time. I’ll be more than happy to come back for visits now and again!

Lisa and I visited the Desert Botanical Garden one evening, which was very nice and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something to do in the area. Here are a couple of photos from our time there.

Fred has kept up his streak of making friends with all of the boys…. here’s Otis being showered with kisses.  [Photobomb by Annie!]

I was able to meet a bunch of co-workers out for dinner while I was here. Some I see daily on Zoom calls but not in person since January 2020. Some I haven’t seen in a much longer period of time. And one I had the please of meeting for the first time after a year + of Zoom calls! We had lots of laughs that night.

Clockwise starting on the bottom with me: Jeremiah, April, Pamela, Angie, Blair, Barb, Julie and Susan

A pine tree across the street from Steve & Lisa’s home is now host to a nest of Great Horned Owls…. 2 adults and 3 babies.  We’ve enjoyed watching them the last several days, maybe as much as they’ve enjoyed watching us.  Lisa got some really great photos on her camera, but here’s a few from my iPhone.

I went to Sedona last weekend…. look for that post to be next!!
