Fred and I spent a few days at a house in Waynesville, NC with Cindy and Ryan and 4 dogs. We had lots of fun.

Fred reunited with his friend Jason, and made a new friend in Halley.

Cindy and I took a nice a walk around Lake Junaluska. Fred swam here but there is no photo evidence.

We also went hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I neglected to write down which hike we took.

Funny story…. We were hiking along, not too far from the parking area, and we were coming upon a clearing where there was a wedding in process and where they tried to tell us (and other hikers) to turn around and go away. Well, long story short, they wound up having to stop the bridal march in order to let us all pass through. Not for nothing, but there could have been a bit of better planning around this use of a public space. We had a lovely hike….
