Niagara Falls

When I was in college, I remember going to Niagara Falls for what seemed like an entire minute.  Needless to say, I wanted to go again and actually see the falls this time!

There’s an RV parking lot on Goat Island, so that’s where we headed. We walked along the Canadian Rapids (Fred may have gotten a few toes in) to Horseshoe Falls and Terrapin Point. We then went to Cave of the Winds, where they said Fred was welcome. This is the area where you walk right along the American Falls. I got sandals and a poncho, while Fred got a face full of water walking up the steps… oh well!  We also walked over to Prospect Point for another view of the Falls. All in all, we spent a nice few hours walking around. The one thing that stands out to me is the brilliant blue color as the water come over the falls.
