Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is located along Lake Michigan near Traverse City.
We stopped for a hike, a swim and a drive. The dunes were lovely, the sand was hot, the swim was fabulous (just ask Fred since I didn’t take a picture) and my first view of Lake Michigan was spectacular!
